This is a nice light laptop that has enough Windows apps and settings. Glad it was delivered in a timely manner. However, I wish I could install Chrome like my older laptop. Also, some of the MSN news or other pages appear to load a lot slower than my older laptop.

Beautiful laptop, looking to add more storage and a stick of 8 GB RAM again. It was bought as a backup to my other work laptop but I've been using this more (as I am on holidays at home). So far it's working smoothly (fingers crossed) and I do hope that it lasts. I've also bought a hub to connect so that I can access my phone's files/photos and integrate them into the learning process for my students.

Many nice features. Back Lighted keyboard, !080p Display, You can add DDR4 Ram (only one stick) there is an 8gb soldered on board). You can upgrade The onboard SSD M.2. You can also add a regular SSD in addition to the M.2 there is a holder kit included so you can do that. It's not too difficult to do that. The back is fairly accessible by removing the 11 screws that hold the back cover on.My only gripe I have is it is just about impossible to change the Operating System to something else (Linux). There is probably a work around for this but I haven't found one.

The volume/speakers on this are trash. Unless i put headphones in, it might as well not have speakers since volume at max is below my ability to hear. I wish I never bought this piece of trash. My 11 year old HP laptop sounds better.

Bought this computer two and a half months ago the screen froze twice. Could not open the computer. Had local computer shop fix this brand-new computer to the cost of $90.00. They said it was something wrong in Windows 11. Wish I bought an Apple computer.I'm sorry about the above comment. I wrote it out of frustration of being new to using a Laptop. I've had a desktop for years and only recently switch to the laptop. I'm sure this Acer will perform very well once I get use to it. The fix for screen freeze is so simple just hold the on/off button down for ten seconds let up for ten seconds push it down or another ten seconds. I'm sure I will learn much more as time goes on. It really works well and was a great buy.

Tard muchsimo en decidirme por esta laptop por los comentarios negativos, lanlos, pero miren ms los positivos y el potencial que puede tener, por el precio que tiene hace lo que tiene que hacer. Si buscan una buena laptop a buen precio no busquen ms.

We have this same model from a few years ago and now have upgraded to this version. It has some meaningful upgrades included USB C ports which we have now switched over to. our other one has worked flawlessly for hte past few years and will be passed on to other owners.

Specifications are not for gaming. Mainly used for other use like school/work. Very easy to setup and has everything you need. If you are looking for a laptop to game, there are other options out there. But for basic essentials, can't go wrong with this one

I bought this Acer laptop because of the number of glowing reviews (thousands) and due to the sale price (under $400). I cannot give you CPU clock speeds and jazz like that but I have NEVER owned or operated a computer that boots up as quickly (WAY less than 60 seconds) and does so many things well.The HD space is pretty limited but you CAN install a bigger hard drive if you want (I don't plan to because I don't need it). I gave this laptop 5 stars despite this limitation. Windows 11 works great (having moved up from 8.1) and the AMD CPU screams in comparison to my old Intel 3 laptop.Give this computer consideration because it's pretty fabulous, imo.
