This product is great for tennis elbow problems and can build-up the strength in your forearms to prevent any further re-injury. Purchase the set, beginning with the easiest and increae the firmness as you gain strength. These can be used to make other arms parts stronger as well because of its flexible design.

I've tried ibuprofen, ice, physical therapy, icy hot sleeves/patches, china gel cream, accupuncture, rest, pretty everything, and the first thing that actually works- and works fast, is this $15 rubber dildo looking thing?!?!? OMG I wish I new about this product months and months go. I haven't been able to get a good night sleep in so long because I cant get my elbows comfortable in bed. Lately I haven't even been able to do the dishes and just stack them up because lifting things hurts. Well, I was awak at 3 in the morning the other day and got online to research tennis elbow exercises and came across this thing. I ordered the red and the green. The red worked fine at first but I quickly progressed to green. (I'm 5'11 185 pounds.) I watched the videos for "tyler's twist" and tried that. It took a little practice to get the movements right, but I noticed that my wrists and elbows both felt a deep "unlocking" feeling. I progressed to the green (thicker) band. I just ordered the blue one. This product actually really does work, and it works phenomenally. I'm supposed to go to physical therapy tomorrow but I'm going to cancel, AND tell them about this product so they can recommend it to other patients. I'm also going to recommend it to my windsurfing buddies. Thanks to whoever created this fantastic product. Seriously, thank you. I've been at the point of wanting to literally cut my arms off. I was already picturing windsurfing with two titaniam arms with hooks on the end to hold the boom. (Kind of sick, but if that gives you a clue as to the pain and irritation my severe lateral epicondilitis (tennis elbow) has caused me.The ONLY other things I would recommend, in addition to these bars, are hot yoga (modified/taking it easy on arms) to get the blood flowing in the tendons/joints etc and loosen everything up- hot yoga , not regular temp yoga since the hot room makes a huge difference, and this little blue donut looking squeeze device sold at REI in the climbing section- made by black diamond. Get the donut one with hole - you squeeze and it creates resistance both squeezing and releasing the squeeze.Best of luck to all tennis/golf/fishing/windsurfing elbow folks out there. What a crappy sensation / thing to deal with. This item is your fix. Your quick, cheap, effective fix.

I have tennis elbow in my right arm and was researching ways to help at home when I came across a recommendation for this Flexbar and ordered it. I have been using it for two weeks now and my arm feels drastically better already. I like using it on both arms though because it just feels good to exercise and stretch the arms out with it. The booklet it came with gave great suggestions on how to use it. I'm glad I went with the green size because it's the perfect weight for me, anything less would have been too light, anything more probably too heavy.

The daily use of this item, in combination with other appropriate exercises, has greatly alleviated the pain associated with tendonitis and there is a definite, on going improvement over the last 3 weeks of use.

I've been suffering with a bad case of tennis elbow over a year now from golfing excessively. It was so bad that it hurt to use my thumb to turn on my battery powered toothbrush. The last time I had a case this bad back in the 90s, it took several months of not golfing to heal. I got a cortisone shot for the first time several weeks ago, and it did nothing but make me want to chew off my arm for next 24 hours. Out of desperation, I got on the web and started Googling for other help. Long story short, I ended up getting the green Thera-band, as well as a jar of Penetrex. I can't say which one or maybe a combination of the two is helping, but I haven't had this little pain for a very long time. I'm not willing to stop either right now to try to determine exactly what's working. It's definitely worth a shot.

I bought this hoping to improve tennis elbow in my right arm. Through the use of a compression forearm band, the Thera-band exersizer, and doses of Aleve, the elbow is feeling much better. The instructions included with the Thera-band were confusing and possibly not correct, but an on-line instruction video demonstrated correct usage. I recommend it.

The product is great, the delivery was unbelievably speedy and the price was right - what's not to like? Women may want to start with the red theraband flex bar first and move up to green. Both work for me, but the red is a lot easier to start with.

Very skeptical but my tennis elbow had kicked into high gear. Used it for about a week and now before tennis, and I'm back at it pain-free!

I've been dealing with insane tennis elbow for over a month. The pain was getting progressively worse. My friend heard about treating tennis elbow with the flex band on an NPR radio interview and told me I should check this out. $11.00 and some change later, which has been a day and a half since I received it in the mail, and my pain is completely gone and now it's so mild I don't think I can consider it pain anymore. I'm blown away. At first the exercises seemed a little awkward, but between the instructions that came with it, including the link to the video posted on the instructions, and with some practice I got it down. I've done the exercises a total of 5 times now and I can swear by this product. It seriously works. I purchased the red one and I am 39, 112 lbs, and I am a certified fitness instructor and I do a fitness bootcamp 5 days a week. The red one was suffcient to help cure my tennis elbow. I am very impressed. I had tennis elbow in both arms so I just did the exercise on both arms. If you're dealing with this pain, buy this product now!!

I developed tennis elbow this year from too much sweep rowing. The pain was intense, making me consider giving up rowing. A co-worker heard a report about the Theraband Flexbar on NPR, told me about it, and I bought it. When it arrived, I tried the tennis elbow exercise about six times during the evening. When I went to bed that night, the pain in my elbow was gone. Next morning it was still gone. Over the next few days, the gross pain in my elbow was completely gone and stayed gone, but then I noticed a lowlevel nagging pain. It had been there all the time, but was now noticeable. After almost a week, the lowlevel pain is gone. My elbow is pain free, and I am very happy. I highly recommend the Theraband Flexbar. It worked wonders for me. I continue to row.Thera-band Flexbar Hand Exerciser - Tennis Elbow Relief Bar Green Medium

I try to play tennis 2 to 3 days a week, but getting older is not helping. After using this device for two week (blue bar, 2 -3 sets of 10 - 15 reps of the "tyler twist") I've dramatically reduced the ache in my elbow and how enjoy playing daily. It works...

Heard about an exercise to relieve "tennis elbow" on NPR recently, and bought the therabar recommended. The exercise is easy to do and works - doing it 10 times a day has eliminated the pain. My "tennis elbow" was caused by weight lifting and never got too severe, but was painful enough. No more.

I have been using this as part of my rotator cuff rehab and it is working great. It will be a while before tennis again so I am not sure of the potential tennis elbow relief, but I certainly will be testing it.

This definitely helped my tennis elbow. Now when I feel a flare-up coming on I start back with the thera-band and in a couple of days it is better. I'm sure if I was diligent to use the flexbar every day, I wouldn't even have the flare-ups. I do wish I had know the flexbars come in different resistant strengths.

I've been using this for 10 days now, for acute tennis elbow. It has not miraculously cured me in that time, but I think it's working. When I first used it, the immediate result did seem almost miraculous. I used the red bar. It was incredibly painful at first. But almost immediately, the pain was reduced. It gives a kind of relief after each use (pain is decreased, mobility increased.)I think my condition is exacerbated by constant mouse and computer use. I'm using a band prescribed by the doctor, when I use the computer. The doctor said I should use the band all the time, but that feels excessive. It seems to reduce circulation. So I just use it when it seems like the elbow might be irritated by my activity. Also, I showed the flexbar to my physical therapist, and he was enthusiastic. He said the Tyler Twist with this should produce the desired result. In fact, right now, I'm typing without the elbow band, and feel no stinging or pain in the elbow. Just a few days ago, this was not possible.

I don't play tennis or gold, I play video games. By following the instructions in this NY Times article,[...], I have dramatically reduced the ache in my elbow that I get after hours of squeezing the trigger on a game controller. My Thera-Band light flexbar has held up to may taking it back and forth to work every day for about a year. I finally got a second one so I can leave one at work and one at home. That's helped me remember to actually do my exercises.

first of all, I've had chronic tennis elbow for about a year and tried stretching, light weight workouts, lots of rest, softer string, (quit playing tennis) and a elbow brace. still, my elbow was not getting much better so I decided to give the flexbar a shot. I have been using the blue bar for about 4 weeks and I do 3 sets of 15 reps of the "tyler twist". (just google "tyler twist" to see a video demonstration) so does my tennis elbow feel better. a little bit. I do think this bar works. I can play tennis now with a brace and have no pain so that is progress. I'm gonna complete the 7 week therapy course laid out by the study. (google it) if your a guy, go right to the blue bar and don't waste time on the green and red. of course let pain be your guide, but for me the blue bar worked fine and my elbow was pretty sore.

I bought a Thera-band Flexbar to treat Tennis Elbow. In just a month after I started using it for an exercise often referred to as the "Tyler Twist," I have seen improvement of my condition. At first it proved a stressful, worrisome exercise, but as I've gotten stronger the exercise has gotten easier. My symptoms have diminished. I have certainly arrested the worsening of my condition and turned it around to where I see clear improvement. I now engage in all activities normally, without the soreness and worry that accompanied such activities just a few weeks ago. Not out of the woods yet, but I highly recommend this product and the exercise.

I messed up my wrist from a fall off my bicycle. PT suggested this and a couple of specific exercises. Works great. I use it for torsion only (twisting, not bending it into a "U"), so the red (10 lb) one seems about the correct tension for now. I could see that it would be very light tension for bending.I love having it around to pick up and play with as a distraction. You really can't hurt this thing. Also would make an excellent chew toy for bigger dogs, especially if you get the stronger resistance ones. When I get to the point where I am switching from rehab to regular strengthening, I will probably need to get one with more resistance, but that's in the future and a good problem to have.
