I have been suffering from tennis elbow for about 2 years and it is not only one elbow but both. After working preparing IV's in a big hospital, dealing with large syringes, opening vials and boxes, my elbows started getting sore and inflammed. I have already received 5 shots of cortisone and the last one was 3 weeks ago on my right elbow. After my 4th shot, I promissed to myself that I would never have any other injection in my elbow because I have been afraid from the side effects (which I had a couple of times) and the risk of tendon rupture. I am a physician assitant student in a osteopathic school and I have even tried manipulations but still it did not work. After removing snow from my car for about 5 days in a row, my right elbow started getting red and swollen, the pain was getting worse and worse up to a point that I could not bend my elbow anymore. The joint and the tendon were as stiff as a rock. I decided that there was not other option than getting a shot again which I did. Twelve days later the inflammation was pretty much reduced, the pain was better but I still could not bend my elbow more than 80 degrees which was very frustating specially when you are a fulltime student, need to carry a backpack and need to write (the right elbow was the one affected). I decided to try something else and I saw the flexbar and all the comments that everybody posted (pretty good in the vast majority). It has been 7 days that I have been using the red bar and I can tell you that from a 80 degrees I can already touch my ear lobes and do other tasks that were impossible due to the pain and the tendon stiffness. I am already treating the other elbow which hurts a little, to see how much better it can get. In addition I have been using the elbow braces to avoit hurting the elbows when lift something heavier. I will update in the future and let you guys know how my elbows are. So far it has been a great purchase and I wish I had bought this product before. It has helping me a lot for sure.
