Thus far I am happy with the product and with the variety of exercises one can do with it. However, I purchased it to help heal and prevent "tennis elbow" and since I have not played for a couple of months (winter weather), I will not know the final results until sometime this summer.

The theraband flexbar works GREAT for tennis elbow. My only problem, was the instructions that came with it did not describe the exercise for tennis elbow, I had to look that up online. But a great device.

I got the green thera-band - was having throbbing pain prior to it. I've been using it on a daily basis. The pain is not as severe. Still have slight tennis elbow but not anywhere like before. Would recommend to those who have tennis elbow - it does help. I play about 4-5 times a week, 2-3 sets each day.

Good product. I'm using it to heal tennis elbow and it is a big help. Make sure, however, you select the right tension for your intended use. For tennis elbow therapy you pre-twist the bar and then release the twist with your hurt arm. The blue bar is very stiff and challenging to twist. It would likely be painful for a moderate to severe case of tennis elbow. I suggest the red or green bar for tennis elbow. For strength building by bending the bar, the blue is challenging but fine. For reference I am a 48 year old male, 6'3", in good shape, who plays competitive tennis 5 times a week. I hope this is helpful.

This is a great product (red bar). I wish the doctor would have told me about trying exercises for tendonitis rather than just writing a prescription. The "Tyler Twist" is the exercise needed for elbow pain. The pain has backed off immensely. I would recommend trying this product.

I bought the thera band for golfer's elbow and have been using under the instruction of a physical therapist. I have yet to see any benefit, however, I have used it for my shoulders and am pleased with the results.

The Thera-Band flexbar is supposed to be the magic cure for tennis elbow, but I saw limited progress doing the exercise described on several sites. Others I know personally say it helped them though. Either way, I found the red bar to be too little resistance and changed to the blue. I'm guessing the green is right for most people.

The advantage of the Thera-band is that it's small and portable. I can throw it in my suitcase when travelling. I use it for strength training and therapeutically for stretching.

I've tried creams, heat, cold, stretches, rest...anything to relieve my tennis elbow. I figured it was worth the money to give this a try and I'm happy I did. I've been using the green flexbar for about 2 weeks and while I'm not 100% I'm definitely feeling better with less pain, more strength, and the ability to play tennis or do other tasks without being sore for days after.

You must do the proper exercise for relief. The "Tyler Twist" is documented on other websites as used with this product.

I purchased this item after reading about it in Reader's Digest. It took me several week to get around to ordering one. It would have saved me weeks of pain if I had acted quickly. I used the exercise I found online and I have devised more on my own. I can drive all day again. Thank you whoever came up with this idea.

Very cool product. I use it for tennis elbow therapy and the Flexbar works perfectly. I'm glad I went with the Green/Medium. Seams to be a good resistance for this type of exercise.

This worked great for me, but with these provisos.1. You have to look up the Tyler Twist on Google to figure out which exercise to do. It's a specific exercise for tennis elbow that isolates and stretches the tight, tense muscle at the root of the pain. This exercise doesn't come with this product.2. The stretching helps right away, but tendons take a while to heal, so don't expect an overnight cure. Figure on at least three weeks.3. This blue is okay for fit men, but probably the green is the starting point for most people.

I have had Tennis Elbow for many years. After a week of using the Thera-Band, the Tennis Elbow has mostly disappeared. There are many other uses for the Thera-Band. Great product.

Bought the blue/heavy one and did the twist and release exercise. Of course it is hard to tell if just this has made by tennis elbow better as I took a lot of rest too, but after using it a few weeks my arm is a lot better. It's for sure worth the try. The best is after your arm is better is to focus on hitting a clean ball. I think especially bad serving and framing backhands are the source for tennis elbow...if you play tennis of course.

How much can go wrong with a rubber stick? The size is good for grabbing, just a bit bigger than a typical tennis racquet handle. The construction seems pretty solid, like it won't fall apart any time soon. The only note that may be useful is that it is relatively stiff when new and softens over the first hundred or so twists. Not surprising if you think about it, but it is sort of the opposite of what you may want, as you usually want to increase resistance as you get stronger. I'm sure any rubber stick will behave this way.

I was very happy with the Thera-Band Flexbar Hand Execiser. The product was delivered promptly, and I am using it in therapy for my tennis elbow, and it has brought some relief.
