I had "tennis elbow" from playing bass guitar, and after 3 months of trying other rememdies with little improvement, I bought the green (medium) Thera-band. (My wife was using it in physical therapy after she injured her wrist, and she recommended it to me.) Within a couple days I noticed some improvement, and symptoms disappeared after about 3-4 weeks of once-a-day use.I probably should have continued for another week or 2, as mild symptoms have re-appeared since I stopped use. (I will be resuming regular use for the next few weeks.)The main reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is that I find the directions could be a bit more specific on how to use the flexbar -- how much force & rotation to use. Otherwise, I am very happy with the product!

This FlexBar works areas of the arms that are not easy to get to. From the moment I picked it up, I could feel the sore areas of my lower arm being stretched and exercised. I even made up a few moves that I can feel stretching out the tendon and muscle. It's easy to use, you can do it anywhere (you might get some strange looks, but whatever), and it doesn't take much time. I even use it when I'm sitting at a stop light in my car. My only complaint is that I wish I had ordered the next higher resistance. Comes with a booklet showing different exercises - easy to follow. Great product! I can actually feel the relief in my tendonitis after just a few days.

This is a tool with some pretty specific purposes. For those suffering from tennis elbow, it is the only thing I've found that works those specific tendons. I've been using it a few weeks and am starting to get some relief. I'd recommend you try it out.

I read the NY Times article citing the thera band bar as a solution for tennis elbow and tendonitis. It works and I have strengthened my muscles around that area and the pain is gone. Amazing!

I've been dealing with pain in the elbow region for 3 years. At times the pain being too severe for fencing or for me to work. Although my level of pain when I started using the flex bar was low, I started feeling some relief immediately. I have only been using the flex bar for a few weeks and even have days that I feel no pain. I find using it after a work out helps a lot. I'm very pleased that something that is so simple can give me so much relief.

I purchased the green Flexbar to use for tennis elbow pain. Lots of moves that previously surprised me with wrenching pain seem to have diminished. I don't do the Flexbar exercise on a regular basis, just about ten times every couple of days. I'm about 6 foot 180 pounds, and strong enough to do pull ups and push ups easily. I have not tried the red Flexbar, but at this point I'm sure it wouldn't be enough resistence for me. Likewise, I don't think the blue would be overkill, and will probably purchase the blue Flexbar soon. Overall, it's a great portable and convenient tool for working on the connectors around the elbow, and for me at least, it makes living with tennis elbow tolerable.

I purchased the flex bar for my 81 year old husband. He has chemo-induced neuropathy in his hands, The therapist recommended this to build up the muscles and he now has 75% usage and is again able to write and do all the crafts he loves.

I ordered a red and green theraflex last month because i read all the positive reviews about this product for tennis elbow sufferer. I was thinking to give it a try because my tennis elbow was not getting any better since last Oct. I tiried almost everything to make it feel better icing, wrist and elbow exercises and even ultrasound because i have an access to an ultrasound machine being a Physical Therapist myself. None of those treatment worked for me untill i started using a red theraflex. My tennis elbow felt a lot better now after 1 wk of theraflex exercises i was doing 2x per day, 50reps each exercises. I can swing my tennis racket now for 15 mins both backhand and forehand without any discomfort. I also wear an epicondylitis clasp i bought separately everytime i play. Thanks to this amazing product, i highly recommend it.

I bought this for painrelief in the forearm. It seemed to work over time with use. I also have used it to reduce foot arch pain but still like the tennis ball better for that. Green might be a little stiff to work if you are on the weak side or if in pain. It will be harder to twist so you might want to start with the red.

My physical therapist instructed me to use the red therabar for my stretches. So far, my elbow pain has diminished somewhat. I can't really tell if it is because of the exercises or the massages that I have been getting at the occupational therapy department. These days, I am no longer waking up with elbow pain. My therapist highly recommend the red bar to strengthen my elbow tendons.

The Green version was the right size and strength. I'm noticing an improvement in my tennis elbow after only a week of using the flex bar.

Just a note to say how much the arthritic gloves are helping decrease the pain in my hands. I wish I knew about them years ago. The theraband bar is fantastic. It keeps my tennis elbow in shape. Now I only have to use it about 5 times twice a day instead of 15.

I have been using the Thera-band for seven weeks. I forget to use it twice per day and so I am giving myself more time to completely reduce the pain in my golf elbow that I didn't get playing golf. I turned several screws years ago with my left hand. After several cortisone shots I decided to try the Thera-band and I haven't given up.

I use the theraband flex bar every day at work. Three months agopain was gradully worse and was losing sleep at night with throbbing pains in the elbow and forarm. Icing arm at work and at home 2 to 4 trimes a day. After the theraband flex bar for 3 weeks the pain is geadually less.I use ice ocassionally at work and sometimes in the night. I also have had 2 cortisone shots in the elbow.I know the problem came on slowly over a lone time but with continued use if the Flexbay and occaional icing I am getting better.
