Mom was constantly having issues with 2 complicated remotes and we were getting calls atleast once a week to come fix the tv. It was usually a simple fix, resetting the input, but it was still time consuming. We have had no calls since giving her this remote. It is simple to set up and more importantly simple to use.

My dad has Alzheimer's and the regular remote control is too busy for his mind. He would constantly turn the tv off instead of changing the channel which frustrated him. I initially purchased a different brand that needed to be placed in front of the cable and tv remotes to pair it but I could only get the volume to work. I returned it the next day.After doing some research I decided to try Flipper because it had good reviews. Well, I must say, this is probably the best purchase I've mad for my dad in a long time. It took longer to read the instructions than it did to get Flipper up and running. I opened the remote to expose the number panel, pressed the tv button, entered the code suggested (there's a short list of the most common codes as well as a full list by tv brand) and voila! Nothing else to do. My dad loves it and he no longer presses the off button unintentionally. I've only had it a day but so far, it's a great buy. I highly recommend Flipper.

I was able to successfully set this up to work with a Tivo mini. I've setup so that it only provides access to Live TV and provides a limited set of channels to scroll through. It's exactly what I was looking for (for my elderly mom who is too easily confused by the standard Tivo remote). Highly recommend.

I bought this remote for my senior-aged in-laws who were having difficulties with their previous remotes having way TOO many options and tiny buttons. They basically stopped watching tv because changing things on the remote control became too difficult for them. They would push buttons they didn't mean to, and then call me saying they couldn't figure out how to correct what they had gotten themselves into. I wanted to simplify things for them, so after some research, I found this remote. It works GREAT ! I programmed all the channels they like to watch as favorites, and now they can only see those channels and they never have to call me with issues of getting confused any more. Plus they love the large buttons. Easy to see and use !Finally, to those who have previously reported that this remote does not work properly with Xfinity, I would like to say that it DOES work with Xfinity. I programmed my in-laws remote for that carrier, and it works great on their LG tv. I would recommend this remote to anyone.

LOVE Flipper!! This makes life so much easier for non tech savvy seniors with other remotes with way too many tiny buttons they can't see or know what they do.So simple to set up, save favorite channels or most used and easy breezy then with large colored buttons, just channel up or down, volume up or down, mute and on off. No more daily calls from Grandma about her TV Not Working! We had tried tape covering buttons on the remote, arrows, nothing kept the wrong buttons from being pushed and the call that her TV is broke.Set this up last week (which was very easy! The codes in the manual to sync with the TV and cable box worked perfectly). Not one issue with the TV since!! Couldn't be happier

I purchased this remote to control my mom's tv and cable box. My mom has dementia and would get her tv and cable box completely screwed up multiple times per day.We were able to control tv and cable box... power button is programmable to turn off tv while leaving cable box on, so when she hits power, tv comes on and it doesn't alter cable power. Controls are easy and there aren't any buttons that get her in trouble like inputs, etc.I was hesitant to purchase because some of the reviews had people complaining that they couldn't get the remote to do what the manufacturer claimed it can do. I had no problem setting it up, but my own wife, who is bad with tech stuff, wouldn't have been able to set it up at all. This may not be great for a 65 ur old woman who is trying to set up the tv for their 85 yr old mother, but if you get help from someone who is somewhat used to setting up household tech items, this remote is a piece of cake.Thank you for this product. I honestly think my mom was about to get bounced out of her assisted living and into a memory care lock down nursing home because she used to push her emergency button so often to get help with her tv. With this remote she is doing quite well. Ten stars!!

Bought a large flat screen TV for my elderly mother-in-law who is losing her vision. The remote that came with the TV was small and the buttons were difficult to operate. I bought the Flipper Big Button and solved all the problems of operating the TV. Simple design easy to operate, Works perfectly. Very good repalcement.

It didn't work. Tried to get customer support from company and non in existence. Even had my Dish installer come over and spend an hour trying to get it work. Nothing, Could get sound, but could not get it to change channels. Very disappointed as it would have been great for my 100-year old mom. I'm returning it.

Worked great to simplify remotes for a Samsung smart TV and xfinity cable box for a person with Alzheimer's living alone. Remotes became almost unusable and completely got things screwed up with normal remotes, this remote made it simple to have one remote to turn on/off and change channels between favorites.

We had initial issues setting it up with a relatively off-brand TV, but the support staff quickly responded with a solution to the problem. The size and ease of use is perfect for my aging Aunt!

I had a Smpl brand remote before for my mother with Alzheimer's. It had weird quirks. Channel changer only worked in one direction, volume sometimes wouldn't come on when you turned on tv. Etc. this one was super simple, had just a few very well labeled buttons. And works like a charm.
