Very easy for your elder to use. Anyone in the nursing home or hospital should have this flipper remote

No more daily calls from Grandma about her TV Not Working! We had tried tape covering buttons on the remote, arrows, nothing kept the wrong buttons from being pushed and the call that her TV is broke.Set this up last week (which was very easy! The codes in the manual to sync with the TV and cable box worked perfectly). Not one issue with the TV since!! Couldn't be happier

Needs to be better marketed . Assisted living home didn't even know it existed.

I purchased this remote to control my mom's tv and cable box. My mom has dementia and would get her tv and cable box completely screwed up multiple times per day.We were able to control tv and cable box... power button is programmable to turn off tv while leaving cable box on, so when she hits power, tv comes on and it doesn't alter cable power. Controls are easy and there aren't any buttons that get her in trouble like inputs, etc.I was hesitant to purchase because some of the reviews had people complaining that they couldn't get the remote to do what the manufacturer claimed it can do. I had no problem setting it up, but my own wife, who is bad with tech stuff, wouldn't have been able to set it up at all. This may not be great for a 65 ur old woman who is trying to set up the tv for their 85 yr old mother, but if you get help from someone who is somewhat used to setting up household tech items, this remote is a piece of cake.Thank you for this product. I honestly think my mom was about to get bounced out of her assisted living and into a memory care lock down nursing home because she used to push her emergency button so often to get help with her tv. With this remote she is doing quite well. Ten stars!!

Bought a large flat screen TV for my elderly mother-in-law who is losing her vision. The remote that came with the TV was small and the buttons were difficult to operate. I bought the Flipper Big Button and solved all the problems of operating the TV. Simple design easy to operate, Works perfectly. Very good repalcement.

It didn't work. Tried to get customer support from company and non in existence. Even had my Dish installer come over and spend an hour trying to get it work. Nothing, Could get sound, but could not get it to change channels. Very disappointed as it would have been great for my 100-year old mom. I'm returning it.

Worked great to simplify remotes for a Samsung smart TV and xfinity cable box for a person with Alzheimer's living alone. Remotes became almost unusable and completely got things screwed up with normal remotes, this remote made it simple to have one remote to turn on/off and change channels between favorites.

We had initial issues setting it up with a relatively off-brand TV, but the support staff quickly responded with a solution to the problem. The size and ease of use is perfect for my aging Aunt!

I had a Smpl brand remote before for my mother with Alzheimer's. It had weird quirks. Channel changer only worked in one direction, volume sometimes wouldn't come on when you turned on tv. Etc. this one was super simple, had just a few very well labeled buttons. And works like a charm.

Large buttons and simplified for them

Bought two for two different televisions in my elderly moms house. Set up was relatively easy and my mom has been very happy with the remote. She had been frequently struggling with her regular and cable TV remotes

Very nice product. Big buttons which can be helpful to some elderly people. Has a slide that you can cover the numbers if wanted after you program in the channels wanted. We choose to leave it off of moms, for she uses numbers to change her channels. I recommend this product!

This was so easy to set up! Makes using the TV for my Mom so much easier than the remote that DIRECTV provided. Just On/Off, volume and channel up or down. We made a custom list as well so it's only the few channels she likes. That way she doesn't have to go through 400 channels to watch the few she likes. Great product!!!

I bought this for someone with dementia who struggles with a typical remote. It does exactly what they need. It turns on the TV, changes channels, and changes volume. You can pull down the bottom to access the numbered pad, but I leave it closed to not confuse the person. It is large and white and stands out, so they don't easily lose it. Perfect for this purpose.

I wish the volume and channel buttons went up and down instead of left and right, but this is a minor complaint. I built a custom video box with a raspberry pi and this works great for someone with dementia. Every other remote has too many buttons.

The control works fine. The problem is the user: It's different, and therefore put aside. Keep that in mind if you're targeting this for a senior citizen. I think it's a great idea - just the buttons one actually needs and uses, but in this case it's less hassle to listen to the complaints about the stock remote that to try to change behavior.

My elderly father likes this remote. It dumbs down the current control for him. My only wish they offered a vibrant color to make it easier to spot in the house.
