The Flipper has been a great help to my elderly parents, who can now operate the TV, change channels, and adjust the volume without messing up any settings. We no longer have to fix the TV multiple times a week!

The unit worked as advertised. The best feature is the On/Off button can control the TV and cable box at the same time. This was very important for my 92 year old father that could not comprehend that there were 2 things that needed to be turned on to watch TV

I was able to set this up for my mom very quickly for on/off and volume but could not get the channels to work after many attempts. I called tech support and quickly discovered that the Flipper needed direct line of sight to the cable box. The nursing home had the box mounted behind the tv. Once I placed the box on the dresser the remote worked. My mom finds it very easy to use! Hoping previous reviews that say the Flipper stops working quickly does not happen. Only improvement would be light up buttons for night.

This remote control could not have been easier to set up. Not issues adding TV and cable box.My mom has macular degeneration and had difficulty with the TV remote that came with her cable set up. It was sad when I realized she was only watching 1 channel so she did not have to touch her remote. She could not be happier now that I have given her multiple channels to watch. THANK YOU!

Bought this for my 89 year old mother. Easy to set up and works both the tv and cable box just fine. Has made watching tv much easier for my mom.

I purchased this remote for my elderly mother that is vision impaired and she doesn't like change at all. We bought her a bigger TV for Christmas and she didn't like the remote that came with it. This one was so simple to set up and she Loves It!!!!

My mom moved into an assisted facility. The remote control to the tv was unfamiliar to her and she couldn't navigate the buttons. This remote is perfect for her. Even with dementia she was able to operate it. I could also program the channels I knew she would watch.

My grandmother was SO upset with her new TV remote. Heck, I couldn't even see it! Today's remotes have small buttons, tiny font and they are all black which doesn't help see anything on the button. Set up was super easy and fast. The flipper has relieved a lot of unecessary stress!

I bought the Flipper Remote seven months ago for my 92 year old MIL. She is blind and has little feeling in her finger tips. The limited number of large buttons enable her to control basic TV functions without help from nursing home staff. The Flipper is easy to program too. The directions are straight forward and the codes work. Customer service is responsive and helpful. Five stars all around.

Perfect for anyone that wants a simple remote with minimum functions. Instructions include program codes for a long list of TV's and it was easy to program.

It's easy to program and the minimal buttons are great for reducing confusion. My only complaint is that the on/off button will sometimes only turn off or on either the cable box or the TV and not the other. I have to resort to the original remote to get them back in synch.

I purchased this remote for my mother. She lives in a nursing home. She had 2 remotes to control her TV and cable box. I wanted to consolidate her remotes and simplify it as well. This remote does that perfectly! With fewer buttons and larger buttons, it has made her life easier! She uses the remote with no issues!

Works great! Had to have my much younger daughter (age 35) program it for me. I am age 68. A great feature is that you can control which and how many channels the viewer can access. People with dementia are totally flummoxed with 120 channels. Ended up with about 25 channels. This solves this problem. Had to get rid of streaming though and install an old fashioned cable TV from ATT's version of Direct TV

I got this for my uncle. It works great. The set up with the television took five minutes. Pairing to the Xfinity cable box took about 35 minutes, and this was needed to control the channels and set the favorites. The cable box he had is a model X1D-P. I had to do some research on the internet to find the code. Once that was done the channel set up was easy, fast and I even did some customizing for his favorite channels. Now he has 14 channels which he can select at will. We put three remotes in the closet and one on his table! Thanks to flipper for making this great product.

Got this for my 100 year old mother, whose hands don't work that well. It was easy to install and sync with the TV, and she is able to use the buttons....One problem is the channel advance. With this device, you program in only a few channels, like the six that they really watch, and then you just flip through those instead of the dozens of channels available. But there's a lag or the button sticks, and when you try to advance on channel it may skip two or three ahead. You sit there pushing the button until it randomlyy lands on the channel you wanted.
