My mom has dementia and her tv was too much for her. I set the new remote up in under 5 minutes and it's perfect. We've had no issues since and it's simple for her to use. This was a blessing because we didn't expect it to be easy.

I bought the Flipper for an 85-year-old neighbor who has problems seeing, that's why the Flipper was perfect for her. Great product

Bought it for my 90 year old father. It is great. Buttons are big so no need to put reading glasses on. Only has on/off volume up and down and chanel up and down. No more issues with changing the input to something other than TV.

It took a bit of time to find the code that worked with the TV. Once we set it up, it was easy for my father to use. It was nice that we could select a few channels for him to rotate through so he didn't get overwhelmed by all the channels on cable.

My sister with dementia could not work the Satellite or TV Remotes. This Flipper remote was just what she needed. Very simple to use. Just pre-select and store favorite channels. Scroll up or down with blue button to change channels. Orange controls the volume. On/Off and mute each have a single button. Once you've set up the remote, close the cover so the confusing numbers aren't accessible. Never needed tech help, simple to set up. But caution, Flipper uses IF frequency and some cable boxes use RF frequency. If you can't find a code from their list that works with your Flipper, read instructions telling you to go to your satellite/cable box to activate IF. None of their 8 Dish TV codes worked for me, but once I activated Infra red (IF) in my satellite box, my Flipper remote worked fine.

Very easy to program to TV and Cable Box. Extremely easy for my Dad to use whom is 82 years old. He had a hard time using the Cable Box remote which has a lot of buttons.

Purchased to make tv use easier for an elderly relative, but remote is NOT truly universal. It will not work unless you have a cable box. So, if your loved on is in an assisted living facility where all cable using coax cable and not a box, then it will not work.

This remote is a God-send for those suffering from Alzheimer's. Simple to use and still has the (hidden away) buttons to tune in favorite stations. (It will store 30 of them in memory.) I can't recommend it highly enough to those who have loved ones that suffer for this horrible, horrible disease.

I'm so glad I found this. It was the perfect solution for my blind grandma. I was able to programs the handful of channels she watches and she can figure out where she is. The simple limited buttons are easy for her to feel. Customer service is also fantastic!! Would highly recommend this remote.

This works well. Powerful enough that most times you don't have to point it directly at the TV. Nice to have only the needed functions.CHANNELVOLUMEMUTEPOWER ON/OFF A small sliding panel exposes the numeric keys and others for functions you won't need often.Instructions were sufficient to get this work without a lot of hassle or not having to look on a web site. Target market (elderly, easily confused) was hit Dead On 100 The Favorite seemed a little confusing so did not implement that for this person.

I (we) love this remote. Once set up, it's amazingly easy for my mother to use. No more confusion or embarrements about messing up the TV. I am a caregiver and I highly reommend the Flipper remote to make things a little easier. We all know how confusing tv remotes can be.

I bought this for my mother who had a stoke and was constantly needing help fixing whatever she did to the television. She watches the two Hallmark channels and Fox news so we only set it to turn to three different channels. She is very happy and we have had no problems, so I am very happy. The volume does not seem to be as strong a signal as the channels but that may be her television. I have had no need to call tech support.
