Glued seam not holding. Bobbers come apart which of course makes them useless. The ones that aren’t sealed properly leak so they fill up with more water than you want.

These are the perfect size for trout! I use the float in combination with a 4 swivel, a 7.5' 3 fly leader, a size 10 Gamakatsu trout worm hook, and 334; pink (or sometimes yellow) plastic trout worm. This is all on a 6' light rod with a size 2000 spinning reel and 6lb test fluoro. I wacky rig the worm and fill the float 1/2 way with water. Allows me to cast a considerable distance and land without spooking the trout. I've been using this package of floats for 2 years now and still have 7 left, so they do last quite a while as long as you don't slam them into rocks and such. I think some of the bad reviews are a result of not knowing how to use these. They are more for casting weight than they are for a strike indicator like a colored bobber would be. Use them properly and you will find them to be very effective. Tight Lines

This is the first time I use this float. I liked it. It is not only a float, it is a kind of weight. It is a combination. I think it works well in the stream for trout. I got trouts every weekend with it for last few weeks.
