This macerator has made emptying the RV potty a DREAM ! If there is such a thing. I can do it at home in my own garage (with the outdoor toilet.) I don't have to get all splashed and dirty at the campsite before having to drive home. Nice power and highly efficient. LOVE the little remote. I use the 12V battery on the little trailer we have, but the cord is long enough to reach to the engine for the RV battery post.

Love this thing.. Works great. I have 2 of these units. I am about 90 feet down hill from the drain hole and everything flows great. never a problem cleaning out my tanks. Wife and I live full time in our RV and these work great. if you have only one you have none because if one goes bad you have to wait untill you can get the parts to fix it..Thanks

You don't want to be messing around with the poo. This fits right on the output just like a poo hose, others need to be filed and are still tough to get on and off. Spend the extra money

I was nervous pulling the black handle the first time but macerator worked flawlessly. My sewer clean-out is 150 ft from my RV and this had zero issues. I would recommend trying it with grey water first to be sure the hose connections are secure. I find it funny that scent was one of the rating criteria for this review, but it didn't smell at all.

The only thing I would recommend for the company to change is a much longer cable as an option. it is about 15 feet too short for this product to be easily used for myself.

I wired it up and put it to use. I could not see what was going on and I am lucky that I did not trust the product and left it alone. It ended up pouring water into tank rather than dumping it out. Luckily, I saw that my toilet was bubbling. The factory reversed polarity on the wires and wired the orange and black reverse, sleepy factory worker and I am sure I am not the only one to experience this. I just reversed the wires on the battery and placed black on red and orange/red on negative terminal. It then flowed out properly. Other than that major issue, it works now.

I spent the money for a one inch hose, which has allowed me to pump waste 100ft, (level to slightly downhill) . I wouldn't try pumping uphill that far, but I'd definitely get the one inch hose.
