Direct beneficiaries per year: Last fiscal year, we provided more than 13.3 million meals to neighbors who were hungry.

Geographic areas served: 90,000 square mile service area throughout northern Nevada and the eastern slope of the sierra in California

Programs: The faces of hunger may surprise you. They may be a co-worker, your child’s friend, or the grandparent living next door. Each month, the Food Bank of Northern Nevada provides assistance to more than 95,000 people through our network of more than 140 partner agencies and direct service programs. More than half of the clients we serve are children and seniors. In fact, one in every five children in Nevada is considered food insecure.
