Mission: IT IS THE MISSION OF FOR THE SAKE OF ONE TO ASSIST WITH THE REUNIFICATION OF FAMILIES THROUGH FIVE AREAS:Maintaining the Blessing Boutique- We have diapers, wipes, shoes, clothing, car seats, socks, formula and much more. Thisroom is utilized by case workers, foster families and anyone with an open DFPS case to prevent removal and ease the financial burden of caring for a bonus child. Encouraging Case Workers- 46% of case workers quit in the first 13 months. A child with one caseworker through a year has a74% chance of finding a permanent placement. However, that rate drops to 17% when two caseworkers are involved and 5% with three. We hope to decrease the burn-out rate of case workers through encouragingthem with prayer and treats. Supporting the biological parents- We desire to build relationships with parents who are fighting to get their kids back and help them find the resources they need to meet their goals including parenting classes, mentorships and providing supervised visits and exchanges. Recruiting new foster families- There are around 200-300 children from Miller, Bowie and Cass counties in foster care. There are only around 30 foster homes. While some children are able to be placed with family members, many have to move far away from everything they know. Supporting foster, kinship and adoptive families- Every month we have a FREE Parents’ Night Out. We also provide school supplies and Christmas presents for all kinship and foster placements from Miller, Bowie and Cass counties. We have monthly support groups for foster/adoptive families.

Target demographics: Sharing God's love as the extended family for the foster/adopt community.

Direct beneficiaries per year: free kid-free nights out for over 90 foster parents, monthly support groups for over 30 families, school supplies for 120 children, Christmas presents for over 280 children, and facilitated the encouragement of 40 case workers. On top of that, we have provided clothing, diapers, wipes, shoes, formula, coats, socks, underwear, cribs, car seats, etc. for 303 children who are in care.
