I have Ehlers-Danlos and trafitionsl crutches cause tremendous should and armpit pain. These crutches are so much better. There is still a lot of pressure and weight on my hands and wrists since i am only able to bear 25 weight on my left foot but much more manageable. Even my physical therapist and orthopeadic surgeon feel these are a great option.

Adjusting the forearm clips takes more force than I'm accustomed to needing, but they can be adjusted. The pivot for the forearm clips is very tight/stiff when they arrive, but can be loosened with a Phillips-head screwdriver and a pair of pliers or a spanner to hold the nut on the other end. This is a good thing, as the old pair I had from an accident 30 years ago were not adjustable.I'm happy with these, and I would recommend them to anyone needing a new set.

Since I've only used a couple of times, I can't give a true response. My Ortho Dr. doesn't want me using them even though they do offer stability when walking. After having knee replacement surgery 2 months ago, I still need a cane to walk because my quad muscles aren't strong enough. I will use the quad cane/crutches more.

I'm 5'10, 250 lbs and these things are great. I use them part time when the weather is bad an I need extra stability.

I purchased these for my 80 year old mother after she fell and broke a bone in her foot. It took her a bit to build up her arm strength to use them, but now loves them. She is now down to using only one. She told me she feels more stable with using one, than using a cane.

I ordered these when I got tendinitis in my hip after hip replacement surgery. They worked when a walker or crutches didn't help. It kept me mobile enough to get things done. The quality and construction are sturdy, and they're easy to adjust.

These crutches are exactly what I've been needing. I had the old school heavy metal type - sturdy as heck, but not very easy to work with. These are the best of both worlds. I'm a small frame person but they seem quite strong. They probably stated a weight limit but I don't remember that. Super easy to handle in and out of the car etc... Fast delivery, exactly what I had hoped for. Definitely recommend this seller!

I had a knee replacement. These are 10 times better than the cane I was using before I got these. Wish I had known about them 2 months sooner. As I have improved and could stand straighter I could adjust them easily for my current needs. Good value.

These were so much easier to use than regular crutches. Definitely glad I purchased. Needs padding for forearm and palm so I purchased those separately. So far the foot covers are good however I don't venture out of the house much.

Fantastic crutches for the price. I sprained my MCL and was disabled for about a month and these were life savers. So much better than anything sold at CVS and way more comfortable than the under-arm crutches I'd used previously. Just put a bit of grip tape or med tape on the handles and these are A.All kinds of customers on here upset that they aren't good enough for serious conditions like cerebral palsy... OF COURSE THEY AREN'T. They cost less than $100. Exercise a bit of awareness and reason, people. These are a fantastic option if you need some crutches for a couple months to get you through an injury. If you're looking for pro-level crutches for chronic disabilities you're going to have spend at a higher price bracket.

I bought these 8 months ago. Use them daily. Durable and good for the money. Comfortable considering their crutches.

I use them when my knees act up. They are light weight, easy to maneuver, and comfortable to use. I used the o e that fit under arm and I had problems with my shoulders for sometime after using them. I had no problem like that using the medline wrist crutches.

They are quite difficult to adjust to get them just right. I have good upper body strength and still pulled a muscle trying to adjust them. They stay tight by tightening a very flimsy feeling dial. I also ordered underarm crutches which I hate and will be relying on them. That says it all!
