The mermaid doll is one of the prettiest my granddaughter now has. The hair is the main draw but all of it is well done and good quality. This brand/doll lists the age as 4 and notes an under 3 chocking hazard - not sure why there is a discrepancy.5-star as it looks better in person and its a very nice doll.

This is a truly entertaining doll - it comes with sunglasses, a purse, earrings, a play computer, leggings, heels and a skirt - so she can be a mermaid or a girl. It also comes with a little ID card to see the other girls that you can get in the series if your little ones loves the doll and wants to get the other ones.The hair is gorgeous, soft and not like straw, and the comb that comes with the doll is also adorable, and easy to hold and use by my 4 year old.The shoes are easy to put on the feet, same with the socks. The sunglasses actually stay on the face, and the earrings, while cute, are a choking hazard for sure, and too easy to come out so I kept them out.This is a pretty doll and the presentation in the box makes it perfect for gifting. The arms and legs are also bendable, and adjustable, so she can sit in a chair, or table with the legs hanging over. The shoes actually are sturdy enough for the doll to stand without having to lean against anything. I would highly recommend this doll!

We gave this Searra to our 8 year old for her birthday as she loooooves it! The gorgeous extra long hair is so fun to play with. The tail comes on and off easily. She discusses how amazing it is that a mermaid gets to go from water to land so easily. Comes with cute little accessories that make playing extra fun. Already thinking about getting another for Christmas. Gotta love mermaids!

Cute doll granddaughter loves her but compared to the quality and accessories of other dolls at same price,I feel the mermaids fall very short. I think Manufacture needs to look again at its product and adjust price accordingly. And they can not go in water just in case anyone is wondering.

I got it for my 8-year-old daughter and she loves it!! She loves the accessories and all the great details! She especially likes how it can go back and forth between mermaid and human and likes the extra long hair too. Highly recommend

My daughters (7 and 8 years old) each picked their favorite mermaid high doll. They were excited about the different choices from the fashion style of each doll to the color and style of their hair. Getting the dolls out of the box was a bit of a challenge, especially as the girls stood by eagerly waiting to remove the beautiful fin and dress the doll up in her new outfit and shoes. The shell laptop was a fun surprise, and they have enjoyed playing with the laptop since revealing the additional accessory hiding inside. They even noticed that their dolls are FaceTiming each other on the laptop screen, such a cute extra touch! This is the first doll they have owned with such long and beautiful hair. My 7 year old has been interested in learning how to make a ponytail, and I'm sure this doll will give her plenty of realistic hair to practice with. The dolls are very well made and can be used in so many different imaginative scenarios for young kids! Mermaid high dolls are definitely a big hit in our house!

The best thing about gifting is when you know you bought the right one. I gave this as a birthday gift for my goddaughter and boy did she love it. Her face lit up as she peeled away the wrapper. The first thing she mentioned was the super soft long hair. It goes all the way down to her mermaid tail. The tail is a nice shimmery pink. She likes it much better than her other mermaid toys, mainly because of the amazinghair and removabletail. It's like 2 dolls in one. It's about the same size as Barbie mermaids but I personally like the eyes and skin tones being a bit more diverse thanthe classic thin Barbie face. It comes with extras like a set of clothes, shoes and something for the hair. Oh, there's a clam shell that opens up when placed in water. In the last 24 hrs, it has been played with, thrown, stepped on, slept with, dipped in the water (after all, she is a mermaid) and it has held up pretty good.

This doll was a gift for my daughter. She is a mega mermaid fan and Mari was a perfect gift for her. She loved the two edgy fashion looks and most of all the doll's really long hair. She is 8 and really into styling her doll's hair especially since she just learned to braid. There also is this shell that opens in water which my daughter was obsessed with. She has already put another doll on her Christmas list.

My Niece has been begging me for this doll, and now I know why. She is fascinated by the bold colors and super long hair. The doll comes with several accessories including a comb and a shell that has a surprise inside! The mermaid tail is removable so she can rock her skirt and boots as well. Most dolls do not keep her engaged.....but there is something about this one that she just gravitates to. I purchased Searra, but she has some additional friends....so I guess i'll have to go ahead and get the additional tribe to complete the doll set.

The pictures do the Mermaid High dolls no justice! I was pleasantly surprised how the doll, clothing, and accessories feel high quality. Searra's fin is sparkly with cute pearl and star patterns. The tail fin is dramatically oversized and voluminous, which makes it feel extra special. I adore Searra's long and super glossy rosy-brown hair with pink highlights framing her face. Searra's definitely a glamour girl. I especially love her pink pleather ruffle mini and platform gladiator sandals! And not to forget, the shell-shaped laptop that pops open in warm watermagic!

This mermaid doll has super super long soft hair that was so fun to brush and play with. She came with a removable fin made of really high quality material, and a complete second outfit she could wear when on land. The accessories were all really on brand and one even came in a water activated seashell that you could keep afterwards as a shell shaped laptop- so smart! I loved that it wasn't just trash. The ID card was filled with mer puns and really helped me get to know the characters more. I'll definitely be buying more!

I was looking for a doll to get for my niece and this one caught my eye because it was so different than other brands out there. It's a mermaid, but not a plastic/young/bathtoy/mermaid for babies- a fun fashionable mermaid in a highschool setting. The hair on this doll is the longest and softest I've come across, and she came with a TON of stuff- even a water activated surprise reveal- so much value! The animation really got me into the story too. So excited to see what else this line does.

These new Mermaid High dolls look just like the animated new show! MARI is my fav we connect with same taste in fashion. I can't stop playing with all that LONG silky hair. This is not cheapo hair this feels silky smooth.The mermaid tails are GORG!FASHION meets MERMAID.
