I purchased 2 as gifts for young girls. I was pleasantly surprised. It was a nice alternative to LOL Surprise, Rainbow High, etc and the Barbie line. Nice doll, whose is both a human AND a mermaid (LOL).

I bought this and one other in the same brand for my duagther for Christmas. I like the fact that it can be a mermaid or not since the tail is fabric. This doll is more poseable than a name brand one.

The mermaid high dolls are all adorable and well-made. Series one dolls all come with a skirt to put on them if you remove their mermaid tail. They all have long soft hair and the accessories are really cute. They also have a cartoon on YouTube. They can also wear regular sized Barbie clothes.

I bought this doll without doing any research on it, my bad. I also saw the doll as the first picture used on its listing.That front picture where she is standing up with all the accessories around her, is a bit misleading.She's a pretty big doll, Bigger than a barbie, a bit. Her clothing is interesting. I'm pretty open-minded, but even I was looking at her outfit and shoes like this may not be appropriate for all kids.I suggest watching the YouTube series mermaid High before buying this doll. This doll is Mari from the show. I would base your purchase off that.

This is a great gift for a girl around the age of 7. Bought for my daughter for Christmas and she loved it. It was fun to release the surprise from the shell in water. The tail was easy to slip on and off unlike many mermaid dolls. The hair was very silky and soft.

These dolls are so great for the price. The tails come off so your child can put them on other dolls like mine did. The tail material is stretchy so they can fit standard barbies. This doll gives off daughter of Ursula vibes and my 6 year old daughter adores her. Definitely recommend.
