The best thing about gifting is when you know you bought the right one. I gave this as a birthday gift for my goddaughter and boy did she love it. Her face lit up as she peeled away the wrapper. The first thing she mentioned was the super soft long hair. It goes all the way down to her mermaid tail. The tail is a nice shimmery pink. She likes it much better than her other mermaid toys, mainly because of the amazing hair and removable tail. It's like 2 dolls in one. It's about the same size as Barbie mermaids but I personally like the eyes and skin tones being a bit more diverse than the classic thin Barbie face. It comes with extras like a set of clothes, shoes and something for the hair. Oh, there’s a clam shell that opens up when placed in water. In the last 24 hrs, it has been played with, thrown, stepped on, slept with, dipped in the water (after all, she is a mermaid) and it has held up pretty good.

I love Mari, she's the alt girl of the group and as such she is my favorite. Her outfit is befitting, her hair color is perfect, and I adore the pattern of her tail. Though there doesn't seem to be a continuation of Mari past this main four doll line, so I'm glad I got her at such a steal. Well worth the price for doll collectors and children alike.

please dont buy this for your child. The hair fell out as soon as she played with her doll. The clothes don't fit properly. Very disappointed

There's nothing not to like about this doll.She transforms into a human girl and she's lovely.Her hair is extra long and soft and only needs a little bit of care after she plays.Her outfits are well made and I believe they'll last a long time.Perfect for any Barbie doll collection!
