Causes: Children & Youth, Youth Development Programs

Mission: We support vulnerable and at risk children, as well as those in care, through direct and indirect services to improve life for them. In addition, we seek to empower and engage the community by education about child welfare issues, and we advocate for the enactment of change when necessary.

Results: We are constantly working toward helping children who are currently in the foster care system and those who are at risk of entering the system. Our goals include:1.Policy Change: We work to elevate the rights of abused and neglected children in the child welfare system. Our community has what it takes to ensure the system has what it needs. 2.Direct Services: We support programs that positively impact children currently in the child welfare system, or who have "aged out" of the system. In addition, we support programs that express appreciation for caseworkers and other child welfare staff. 3.Community Education: We build awareness in the community, including children in schools, concerning child welfare issues, as well as engagement of these community members

Target demographics: advocate for children in the child welfare system and those at risk of entering the system.

Direct beneficiaries per year: high risk and vulnerable children, as well as children in foster care
