True what others says that occasionally the towel tube will pull out if you pull off a towel too enthusiastically, but only when there are hardly any left on the roll. (And it is startling when this happens, because the spring-loaded SNAP is loud.) But generally very pleased with it -- totally functional and nice retro look for my old-house kitchen without attracting a lot of attention.

Liked everything except it was a bit hard to mount by yourself because of the spring leaded arms

nice sturdy, under counter paper towel holder. I like that the arms fold in when no towels are on it. Thank you.

Very hard to find a decent metal (stainless stell) hinged holder that works well. Like that the spring tension seems perfect, allowing tearing off at the perforation line without splintering the paper...easy mounting, but had to use my own shorter screws (1/2), the screws provided are just long enough to possibly come through the bottom of most 3/4 or 5/8 inch thick cabinet bases. Has't broken yet like the plastic imitations ones do...I would buy again if needed.

Strong. Sturdy. Easily mounted. We like that it folds flat when not in use on our patio near our bbq grill.
