They seem pretty good, but lids have to be pushed down to go flat onto shaker. My old ones from pier1 flipped closed all the way and lasted over 20 years

I bought these shakers to use at our lake where the humidity tends to be high. Not on,y do they work, but there's no need to hold the shakers open during use, making it easier for elder, arthritic hands. Just love these! Be aware, though, they are on the small side.
