My store bought bagels fit perfectly in this holder which helps in slicing them evenly. Happy with my purchase.

I needed another kitchen gadget like a hole in the head but . . .after slicing my finger cutting an oversized English muffin in half I went for it. My dad was a chef and I can just see him rolling his eyes for buying something like this but I'm awful with knives. I bought some very thick English muffins and as they have no start to slicing them my fingers were definitely at risk so the need to purchase this little gem. It is actually quite attractive and I shall leave it near the toaster. Haven't tried it with a bagel yet but certainly will. I have absolutely no guilt for purchasing another item for the kitchen. ;)

Bought it as a gift for a friend. They tend to like larger bagels, and while the bagel did fit in the slicer, it didn't hold it in place very well while cutting.

Perfect for us seniors that would like to keep all 10 digits. Now we can slice bagels without glasses , No mess, easy, and safe, Made of wood, with felted feet, I keep it on the counter, by the Kerug.

Comes in very handy when cutting a normal sized bagel, similar to a lenders bagel. Wipes off very quickly.

The wooden surface is smooth. It worked ok, but need to cut almost 1/2 of the bagel before getting to the guide.

Accommodates extra fat bagels, unless a plastic equivalent that broke on me. That it's wood makes it (at least for me) a good counter object.
