I ordered this knowing it was mini, which I thought would make a nice accompaniment to a selection of macarons and chocolates for a small family celebration with a French theme.CONS: I wish the ridges on the shell pattern were more visible/defined on the finished cakes. Its possible a different recipe would show the ridges better. Im also going to try browning them a bit more to see if that helps. I do feel like the photos used in the listing could be misleading about the depth of the ridges.PROS: I buttered half the pan and butteredfloured the other half in both cases, the cakes came out of the pan beautifully while still hot. The pan is very easy to store (or even display) and fits comfortably on a half sheet pan to slide inside my standard electric oven. Bite size is cute and a nice option for a lot of reasons a half batch of batter that is listed to make 16 full size madeleines yielded roughly 40 of the minis, making it easy for people to have a bite or two with other treats.If I wanted a really classic madeleine with a really obvious scallop pattern, this wouldnt be the right pan. I may add a full size at some point for those occasions. But everyone here is very happy with the results because bite-size buttery cakes are dreamy. So I cant really complain.

I read a lot of reviews before buying this pan and happy I chose this one. The madeleine's came out perfect on the first try. The shape and line detail were just right.

This made the perfect mini madeleines.

Madeleines turned out perfect and didn't stick to the pan at all. A lot easier to remove madeleines than my last pan.

Not sure why so many reviews complain about the sizes being small, but this is clearly advertised as a MINI madeleine pan and if you are here trying to buy a pan to make mini madeleines from Ansel Dominic's mini madeleine recipe, then I would say this is the perfect pan. The non-stick works perfectly fine for me, and I have been able to make 3 batches of mini madeleines so far without issues. The only thing I want to note is that the groove patterns on the bottom of your madeleines will not come out as defined as they should be. That's the pan's fault and they should have manufactured them to have deeper grooves. That being said, I am nevertheless satisfied with this pan's results so I won't be returning or buying another one for the time being.

Great quality. With a spray of oil, the madeleines come with with just a tap.

These are a bit pricey but well worth the money figuring that you will have them for the rest of your life. The non-stick coating works perfectly and the Madeline's come out and un-molded perfectly. I have received nothing but accolades when people see the finished product.

I purchased both the standard and the miniature Madeline pans. Should have only gotten the standard. Hard to see the shell shape with the smaller size.
