This was requested stocking stuffer. I also have this sugar bear. You soak it in water for a few minutes. Dry it off into the brown sugar it goes. It keeps the brown sugar as soft as the day your pour it out of the bag. Will definitely buy more for friends family.

This little gadget is such a good idea! I saw it in an email catalogue and though it looked interesting. I don't use brown sugar that often, so by the time I do use it... it's hard a a rock... This cute little terracotta bear works... I read the instructions... soaked it for a little while and put it into the brown sugar package. The brown sugar is still soft... I am impressed. I had never heard of this before... I highly recommend this as a good deterrent to brown sugar becoming a rock...

It's a lot smaller than I was expecting, but it does the job. I had a container of brown sugar that was rock hard, and after just a few days with this in there, it's as soft as when I brought it. Good little kitchen addition!

I have a homemade bread recipe that produces a crust that's a little firmer than I like. I put the bread in a ziplock bag with the little bear and the crust becomes very soft and easy to cut. I also use another little bear in my brown sugar and it's always soft and ready to go. I love these little terracotta bears!

My brown sugar would harden even in an airtight container and this bear has saved it. I really wish they gave instructions to soak it in water with it rather than a ripped paper with information about what terracotta was. I had never used terracotta before and didn't know to soak it for at least 20 minutes. I soaked it for much longer because I forgot about it but it was fine.

I have never had anything in my jar of brown sugar. Wasn't until watching some cooking lives I seen people taking something out of their jar before scooping up the sugar. I honestly didn't realize these existed. Game changer for sure.

This is a kitchen MUST HAVE!!! I am an at home baker and my brown sugar dries out so fast even in air tight containers. I soaked the bears for 20-30 minutes in water and they have kept my sugar fresh for over a month already!

No more rock hard Brown Sugar! I was skeptical but I’m happy to say that this little bear backs up what it claims to do. The container of sugar stays soft, scoopable (if that’s a word?), and useable.

My brown sugar kept drying out/clumping and after following the products directions and adding this, I have had no issues and can easily scoop my brown sugar! Love it!
