It is a tiny (2.5 tall) terracotta bear. It is adorable. It seems to work. Does it work better than a piece of bread in the brown sugar container? Eh, perhaps? . . .but it is indeed very cute.

I forgot to put the bear in the container of brown sugar . Even in container, it was rock solid. I soaked the bear, as instructed. To my surprise, it worked! When I shooked the container. The sugar was loose, soft, and moist. I should have bought, at least two bears.

i am super impressed with this bear! we live at the beach and it's super humid here. my brown sugar usually turns to a solid rock, not even one clump now with using this bear in my sugar jar. hands down 10 stars!

Was not sure how this would work. Was very happy to see that within a few days the rock hard brown sugar in the pantry was soft just like the day I bought it.

I'm glad I got this. I bought a new bag of brown sugar and I had a few really hard pieces left over from the previous bag, I put the bear in my airtight container along with the other left over pieces and it completely softened them up.

It worked exactly like it said it would. Soaked it in water for 15 minutes, dried it off, but it the the container of rock hard brown sugar, and the next day the brown sugar was perfectly soft again.

My husband is the cook and he would complain about the brown sugar always being hard no matter what he did so I bought this and he absolutely loves it!! The brown sugar is completely soft

We put 2 of these Terra cotta bears in a really big bag of organic brown sugar that had gone brick hard - I was ready to toss it but thought we'd give these a try and in about one week the whole bag was just as we bought it - beautifully soft and naturally moist - we keep them in all the time and the sugar stays perfect. I'm buying another one for the jar we keep on the table!!!

Is terra-cotta brown bear has been the best solution for softening my brown sugar. Only emerge it into water for 15 minutes, take it out and put it in your brown sugar bag and the next day your sugar is soft like it used to be. I am planning to buy more for my friends.

Product was exactly as pictured in the listing. Just gave it a brief wash and soaked in a bowl of clean water for 15-20 minutes. Saved my brown sugar from being an unusable rock!
