I soaked it in water for 20 minutes, then put it in a box of rock hard brown sugar. Within one day it was soft ! Amazing !

Loved the cute design and its kept my brown sugar nice and soft!!I soaked it in warm water for 20 minutes as instructed.

While doing my holiday baking with a rock hard brown sugar, I finally bought one. My mom had one when I was growing up - why I am purchasing my first one at age 40 something is beyond me. Within hours, I had my moist brown sugar back!

I didn't really appreciate this little guy until I started my holiday baking. The container of light brown sugar without this guy was hard as a rock. The container with him was perfect. Definitely soak and dry with a towel before adding to sugar container.

Using this bear with a Rubbermaid sealed container is the first time I haven't had to throw out most of a package of brown sugar! It's been over a month now, and I've opened the container several times to take out some sugar, and it has kept it soft and usable. I'm impressed!

It works well. Soak the bear, follow the instructions, my hard brown sugar is soft. It didn't take very long. Might be a few days. It took quite a while to get here. It says that if you're brown sugar gets hard again just soak the bear and put back into the brown sugar. I am quite pleased with it.
