Bought this set for a holiday cookie decorating party. I used a basic, no spread sugar cookie recipe and was impressed at how easy the cookie cutters worked and how well the detail stayed after the baking. For the first few I was nervous the dough was going to get stuck in the plunger, so I used powdered sugar to coat the cutter first, however I realized this wasn't really necessary.Considerations - I would recommend using a cookie recipe that doesn't require frosting the cookie. Originally I thought I could do royal icing inside of the crevices, but it immediately floods and takes out the beauty in the detail. Also- these cookies are quite small relative to other cookie cutters. The great part is that you can eat 5 and not feel too guilty!

So much fun to use! They make great impressions on sugar cookie dough. I tried them on chocolate shortbread but perhaps the dough was too thick or too soft but I will definitely use again and recommend these. Again, so fun!

These make the coolest pie cut outs/crust! Our teenagers had a blast using them. Took a few times to get used to how to cut out the shapes with or without their detailing. Everyone was impressed by the ‘crust' making skills at thanksgiving.I definitely recommend these!

I like the cookie cutter type portions of this product a lot and they worked really well on my pie but I own things like that already and I really bought this for the roller for my crusts and as you can tell from my picture I didn't use those for my crust because I could not figure out how to use it. The roller itself is not very user-friendly and even when I kind of got it to work it didn't look very good. I would recommend purchasing some cheaper cookie cutters instead if you're looking for that portion of this product.

Lots of compliments on how pretty my pie looked with leaf trim on the crust. Rolled out the leftover crust, cut out leaf pieces, sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and baked a mid-morning treat for family.

I wanted some cute fall cutouts for my sons lunches and found these! They worked perfectly with the cheese, just had to press down firmly and it made a beautiful imprint :) I know my 4.5 year old will love it when he opens it lunch at school.
