It worked great for a few months, then started losing its bristles and the wood darkened even with drying it between use

I love that the bristles are not stiff. I use it as a quick scrub before dishes go in dish washer and for pots and pans that are not too greasy. Holding up beautifully, I've been using it for a month.

I'm 71. I've been hand washing dishes in the kitchen sink since I was 7 years old. I've used almost every kind of dish washing tool produced. This brush is the best tool for gently washing everything you put in the kitchen sink. The main point is, It's SOFT. There are zillions of hard bristle dish brushes that will get baked on gunk off dishes. Fine. This brush is for everything that's not hardened on the dish or glass surface. Day-to-day, that's almost everything in my kitchen because I'm careful when cooking. For that load, I love this brush. After a few uses it begins to look like an artichoke hanging from my faucet. All good. 5-Stars!

After a year and two months of almost daily use I just ordered a new one see the photo for comparison. I dont think an ordinary plastic brush would have survived the kind of beating I put this one through in my minimalist lifestyle one-person household (no dishwasher), and Im glad I dont burden our planet with another piece of fossil-fuel-made junk that stays around for more that 100 years.Let me say, I love this brush! But Im sure its not for everyone lets call it a bit rustic. The size is closer to toilet brush territory, although for use in an actual loo the handle is way too short. Be prepared for some natural shedding for the first few days of use.The brush is firm, yet the bristles are long enough to reach into tight corners if you apply enough force. The long bristles also make the brush more difficult to keep clean however, you wont experience the clumping youd expect from long-term use of plastic brushes. The old one still has some life and purpose Im going to downgrade it to around-the-house duties until its no longer usable, and Im glad that its completely compostable.

Great bottle brush. Took about 3 years to start losing bristles. Will purchase another one when ready! Worth it to not have to use plastic sponges that are impossible to disinfect and bad for the environment. Saved money compared to using walnut sponges.

This brush is sturdy. It does well in absorbing soap and then foaming up well to do the washing. Its bristles seem to last and hold up much longer than plastic brushes.
