I have a glass top stove and use only cast iron pots and pans. I found that pans that sit flat on the glass tended to scorch food no matter how low I turned the heat. My friend reminded me of the old heat diffusers her mother used back in the day so I decided to find one. This works so well i bought a second one! Gives just enough space between the pan and the eye of the stove to let some air in and regulate the heat. Highly recommend!!

I don't know what I ever did without these pot of chili for hot dogs was put on the stove on one of these Stars forgot about it never stuck to the pan or burnt absolutely amazing!!
