This has been a great mixing bowl and it's a nice size. It's not to heavy for my hands but is still sturdy enough that I don't worry about it breaking easily.

I would like this more if it was a quirt and a half, but I haven't found a batter bowl. Other than that, I am very happy with it. I you have week wrists this might not be a good fit.

The batter bowl I received had none of the negative complaints that have been reported. Smooth and no sharp edges. I assume the problems in the past have been corrected.
