I am a pampered chef consultant or used to be before their products went down hill. I loved the old batter bowls. Now their batter bowls are thinner and have no bottom to the handle. Nothing to brace against as you try to carry a heavy large bowl full of ingredients. Then my husband found this and got it for me. I love it just like my old pampered chef bowls. I do miss a matching lid but can do without just would be a nice addition and would pay atleast $2 more if it had a lid.

This is a great size 2 quart or half of a gallon for mixing your favorite recipe's.It has marked sizes from 8 oz , pint and quart 1 and 2The other side lists in milliliters.Nice thick glass feels very durable and dishwasher safe.

I absolutely love this batter/measuring bowl. You can virtually use it for everything. I do use it for everything, everyday. I couldn't live without it.

Anchor Hocking make great products. The handle on this bowl makes it easier to handle especially when washing. This bowl is deep, which gives it another plus in my book especially because I have a mixer which seems to try to hit Mach 1 on the lowest setting.

It may be heavier than plastic but it is better in every other way. Its cleans easily, can go through dishwasher too, markings won't fade with age like plastic and its see through so my kids can enjoy watching me cook. Honestly the weight helps out when they're the ones stirring
