I microwave my pasta all the time. no need for heating large pot of water which takes forever on my glass top electric cook top.

Use it for batters where I need to direct what I pour -- pancakes, muffins and bundt cakes. I make A LOT of bundt cakes, and this is so much easier to use than any of my mixing bowls. I like the high sides and narrower base for mixing them up, too. Seems to be less spillage when I whisk. It is quite heavy, but that's what makes it sturdy so I can't complain. The handle makes it easier to maneuver. It is marked with measurements, but I don't use those markings. Their quantity is too high (like 2 cups minimum) for my needs. They are pressed into the glass, not painted on like my Pyrex measuring cups, so they should never wear off.

We've had a well used Anchor Hocking batter bowl for years. We use it for literally everything! The handle is especially great for young bakers to hold on to! We bought our second batter bowl because the first is so well-loved.

Ordered one for my home, this is my second one for a vacation home. It's fantastic, and love that it's a great mixing bowl that pours and also can go in the microwave. Great!!!

I love this Anchor Batter Bowl. This piece is of the same wonderful Anchor quality I've come to expect. It's weight is heavy enough to discourage sliding while blending/mixing and to withstand rigorous use, but not too heavy to easily maneuver, pour, carry, etc. Handle is sturdy, comfortable and well placed for balance. The glass is clear and measurement markings are easily visible. I have found this 2 Quart size a useful addition to my mixing bowl collection and have chosen it for the majority of my mixing tasks since receiving. This bowl is dishwasher, oven (up to 425), microwave, and freezer safe. It does not allow for oven broiling or browning in capable microwaves. This is a great mixing bowl and I recommend it without reservation.

I get so annoyed when the measuring lines start to fade, eventually disappearing entirely. Anchor Hocking's products solved that problem for me. Really happy with my purchase.

I use it as a mixing bowl most often, and easy to pour batter into the baking dish from this bowl. Easy to clean after using.

Oh my, I love this batter bowl. Anchor Hocking is top quality anyway and for them to make a 2 quart batter bold that I can use with my stand mixer is just top notch, and to add to it is the fact that it is tinted. Talking about a good looking batter bowl. My daughter saw mind and fell in love with it and the next thing I knew, my batter bowl came up missing and is now at her house. I had to buy another one for my house. So I have purchased two of these and my family of cooks and bakers love this batter bowl. I'm going to eventually get me two more for my kitchen baking equipment. I recommend this 2 quart batter bowl highly . It's so well made and versatile!!!
