It is just the right in between size to both mix and pour in. I that you can also use in the oven !

When I ordered this, I wasn't sure how much I'd use it, but I find it's a convenient size for lots of things. I've used it for biscuits and snack cakes. I use it to hold browned meat or chopped veggies when prepping chili and soup. It's nice and sturdy. I know I'll get many years use out of it. Great addition to my cookware collection.

Can handle any job in the kitchen, deep so doesn't take up space in the frig and prevents splashing. I now have three and use them every day, they are an all-in-one dish for all your needs.

Love this bowl for a few reasons. First and mostly because it's lead free. Bowls and cups with paint on them can have lead and cadmium in them. This one has been tested free from them. Coming g for someone who's grandson has lead poisoning, this means a lot.

Perfect for sprouts, preparing batter or dough by hand, serving and storing food, and watering plants. Very versatile. I really like the measurement increments and conversions on the side to see exactly how much I'm adding to the bowl. The bowl is very thick. Easy to clean after soaking in water. I ordered one and then two more upon seeing the quality. Superb!

Like the fact that is solid glass and will last forever. Had used my old batter bowl all of the time, especially in the microwave. Good product. Would highly recommend this item for purchase.

I ordered this because I wanted a heavy duty glass mixing bowl, made in the USA, with a handle I could hold while stirring batter. And that's exactly what I got. :-) Item arrived well packaged - no dings, scratches, or cracks. Yay!

Omg. I love this measuring/bowl. Its embossed it is high heat resistant. Perfect size for batter, and for mixing. I like is so much I got one for my granddaughter. Could not resist they price.

This is nice for making larger batches of batter or whatever. It seems well made, but it is heavy making pouring a bit awkward or haphazard. Be warned.

I bought this to replace a plastic measuring cup. Love that it is glass. Won't stain like the plastic one did. It can be heavy when full.

Why aren't all measuring cups etched? The price was perfect. Anchor Hocking, please make more of these in smaller sizes. I would buy every size and throw out all of my Pyrex measuring cups.

I sadly had to replace my Mom's 1950's Pyrex clear glass batter mixing bowl after it broke (sniff, sniff). It was the perfect bowl to mix pancake batter for Sunday morning pancakes. I so decided to try this Anchor Hocking bowl because it was similar. It's definitely bigger than my old one and much heavier. It did work great this AM for mixing up batter. Having a larger capacity was nice too. I scoop out batter with a large spoon to make pancakes and the lip of the bowl wiped off extra batter from the spoon perfectly. It's quite heavy to pick up by the handle with one hand and pour, but glass bowls tend to be heavy to use that way. I'm sure I'll use it for other batters. It's a keeper.

It's heavy because it's glad, but it's exactly what I wanted. So handy for making pancakes, cupcakes, muffins with the pour spout. I'm very happy with it. It arrived in perfect condition.
