Very heavy high quality measuring bowl. It is wonderful for canning with the pour spout as it eliminates the need for a funnel.

I needed a new mixing bowl with a pour lip. I decided this would hold up well and be perfect. There was one thing I failed to factor inthe weight. As I unfortunately age, I find this mixing bowl is quite heavy. I worry because our kitchen flooring is concrete and anything glass will shatter. Otherwise this would ear five stars easily. It is easy to use and clean up, no complaints.

I'm not sure how long this bowl will last. The quality is not what it used to be. There was a very distinguishable seam down the side of the bowl. It was very rough to the touch. Only time will tell, how long this will last.

I like that it's not to big for preparing small meals and easy to read measurements. Nice for mixing such things like pancakes, muffins etc. I hate that it didn't come with the silicone lid. That's an extra cost. Overall the marking and functionality is good. You can feel the marking.

So I have numerous anchor Hocking products that I use regularly all of them I've had for many years. I wash them in the dishwasher both in the top rack and the bottom rack. I just got my new batter bowl and I was very excited about it. Put it in the dishwasher in the bottom rack and sometime later I hear a massive explosion come from my kitchen. This bowl has shattered into a million pieces all over my dishes and all over my dishwasher. I don't even know if my dishwasher is going to be salvageable. I will absolutely be contacting anchor Hocking. I am blown away that this happened. All of my other anchor Hocking products I have used for many years and never even had so much as a scratch or a crack this was never even used before. If I could give it a zero star review I would. I will add a photo later.

The cup was not asymmetrical and was slightly warped. I would still rather use something safe and healthy vs. perfect in shape.

I am a pampered chef consultant or used to be before their products went down hill. I loved the old batter bowls. Now their batter bowls are thinner and have no bottom to the handle. Nothing to brace against as you try to carry a heavy large bowl full of ingredients. Then my husband found this and got it for me. I love it just like my old pampered chef bowls. I do miss a matching lid but can do without just would be a nice addition and would pay atleast $2 more if it had a lid.

Thick and heavy so it seems a little sturdy. I just wish the spout was better for MY pouring needs. Overall, seems like a great product!

I bought this to replace a plastic measuring cup. Love that it is glass. Won't stain like the plastic one did. It can be heavy when full.

The mixing bowl is great, easy to use and well made if you get the right one. The first one I sent back because of an odd channel running down the inside of the spout. The second one had a very small channel. I decided to keep it anyway. The third one I ordered for a gift and thankfully was perfect. I hope they keep making these despite the manufacturing issues.
