I had hoped Oud Vanille would stand out on its own more, since I already have- and love- Shaghaf Oud from Swiss Arabian. It is so similar, however, than now I have two gourmand fragrances in my oud collection. It's not that Oud Vanille isn't a good scent. I like it. But I don't LOVE it. For younger people used to fragrances like Bath and Body Works and Victoria's Secret, this will be a slightly more grown step up from typicals like Amber Romance, but not nearly as complex as more niche fragrances. All in all, Oud Vanille is mostly one-note despite the name. The oud sits in the background, the vanilla is warm and nice, and at this price point you can use it liberally without feeling guilty. What I do see as an advantage with this is that it will be great for layering. I tried it with Ard al Zaafran's Midnight Oud (allegedly a dupe for Amouage Interlude Man) and it is absolutely delicious. I like Midnight Oud on its own, but bringing out the vanilla-oud softens the strong oregano presence that causes them to market it more toward men. This also pairs well with Oud Rose, and anything sandalwood or spicy. It all depends on what you're in the mood for.

I blindly purchased this, due to recommendation.....I LOVE IT!!! it has a warm and inviting scent that last all day! I received so many compliments. This perfume definitely is a new favorite for me!!

I love it!

This is NOT a mass appealing scent. But for those that love parfumery, this is such a great value for what you get. Sweet oud sense that may be challenging for those that prefer fresh blue aquatic scents. Best worn in fall and winter and I dont think this wears well in summer. This last easily 10 hours for me.

If you like dark heavy scents this is for you! Pretty dark on the first spray but then dried down to a nice vanilla

I have the oud touch and loved it so decided to try this one as well. I love this one even more. It has a mild tobacco / vanilla mixed scent. Like oud touch when you first spray it, it does not smell great, but it's the way it settles a few minutes later that is wonderful.

If you love a heavy, strong scent, this is for you. I love this. I will buy a northern bottle soon. I mean it's strong but not in a overpowering smell. It's a rich, vanilla with oud scent to it.

I like oud/agarwood so much that I collect oud perfumes. I have a few, some expensive, some inexpensive. This one is the latter but I love it. It is not too strong for a woman and I would wear it all year 'round in California, with no hesitation.Oud is either an acquired taste or a natural match. For me, I loved it the moment I first smelled it. Now, I want them all but some are way over-priced. In fact, I have one that was touted to be the best and I don't like it (too citrusy, which overwhelms the woodiness, in my opinion), hundreds of dollars later.Sillage is good, but Oud Vanille is great from base to finish. I will definitely be getting it again. It is almost like sandalwood which, along with vanilla, chypre, and bergamot is my favorite scent. For this price, you can take a chance.

If you like Oud, rose, and vanilla, this is a beast of a fragrance. Reminds me of DG The One Mysterious Night.

For $20 price tag, I had very low expectations. I thought all the reviews were from inexperienced noses.I was wrong.This frag is top tier without having to be $250. Compared to Tom Ford Oud vanille. It's 55 feminine but I use it too (in a dude).HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND IM A FRAGRANCE SNOB!
