I like the franklin ball for my 3.0/3.5 level of play. It has plenty of bounce on outside courts and has a even bounce. So its recommended. It is used in tournaments many times and that is good by my book.

I like playing with my Franklin Sports Outdoor X-40 Pickleball Balls. They are fast, fast balls! They're stiff and take a lot of momentum from a fast paddle hit. They are durable; we've played dozens of games with them outdoors.

I honestly haven't tried any other ones except the indoor balls on indoor courts, which feel very different. I like these outdoor balls outside, and everyone I know like them and recommends them, not sure if others are better in any way or worse...

Prefer these to a couple of others I've tried. Seem to have the right amount of bounce for outdoor play. Good durability and brightness for play at different lighting levels.

These pickleballs are nice but crack fairly easily. Has a good feel, bounce and carries well. I've found that many brands crack easily so I guess we have to learn to live with it since they are made of plastic.
