Mission: The animal shelter's mission is to shelter, neuter, and find homes for stray cats and dogs.

Programs: Sheltering, neutering, and finding homes for stray animals. As well as, educating the public on the care and neutering of animals. The franklin county animal shelter is a no-kill shelter. Animals are not put down unless there is a temperament issue that makes it unfeasible to place them or an untreatable medical issue.
