Programs: Case management: frannie peabody center ("fpc") serves half of all mainers living with hiv/aids who receive case management services. Fpc serves those in cumberland and york counties, providing referrals and advocacy to meet the medical, psychological, legal and physical needs of clients. Fpc also assists with payments for medications, dental care, eyeglasses, and nutrition. During 2015 the agency added behavioral health and substance abuse counseling services.
housing: frannie peabody center is committed to meeting the housing and residential needs of people living with hiv/aids in maine. Haven, fpc's statewide housing assistance program, provides tenant-based subsidies and short-term rent, mortgage and utility payment assistance to low-income individuals and families living with hiv/aids.
prevention: frannie peabody center's hiv prevention and education programs focus on targeted outreach and recruitment, referrals to testing, linkages to support services and medical care, partner counseling and referral services and low barrier anonymous rapid hiv & hcv testing.
