Mission: FYI empowers immigrant, first generation, and bicultural youth from distressed communities by providing the tools needed to achieve lifelong success. We do this by building:
-Emotional Health
-Cultural and Community Integration
-Educational Support, Skill Building, Language Learning
-Community Service Programs

We provide free afterschool and summer programs to 450 Latino youth, ages 5 to 18, in the northern Manhattan community of Washington Heights.

Our vision is that all young people develop their potential; become meaningful contributors in their communities; and lead fulfilled, productive lives.

Fresh Youth Initiatives is a 501(c)(3) organization, with an IRS ruling year of 1994, and donations are tax-deductible.
