Mission: Friends of mcneil rivers primary purpose is the preservation of the sanctuarys bears and their habitat and to have a voice in its future.

Programs: Maintain website to keep public aware of issues facing sanctuary and educate public to information about the bear population in the sanctuary.

hold educational public meetings to appraise public of activity at the sanctuary and advise of any issues needing public support. 2017 50th anniversary event: speakers, slide show and update on sanctuary issues.
