Very good, but given the salt content, consider NOT adding any (additional) salt to your dish until you taste it. This spice mix likely contains all the salt needed for proper seasoning.

Have used for a few months now and I would buy again. No issues with my order and this ended up being lower cost than the grocery store.It is just a jar so nothing to really review here but the spice which is great.

This Berbere is excellent on most meats and even on fish. I highly recommend adding this Berbere to your scampi. We love chicken thighs marinated overnight with this Berbere and olive oil, then air fried for 20 minutes. Ethiopians put it on almost everything. Experiment and be surprised!

This is not the first time I've purchased Frontier Berbere spice blend. It's not the absolute best blend out there, but it's really good, and for the money, one of the best blends available online or in local markets. If you've never tried berbere, this is a great entry point to Ethiopian cuisine!

This is a different taste and smell. But it grows on you. I use it on my popcorn or my salads. Its a different flavor, but its good Its a great addition to anyone who loves to cook!

This spice was stronger than other Berbere Seasonings I have tried which means it will have a much longer shelf life. It is so delicious, I use it in non-Ethiopian foods like Grilled Chicken Burgers.

I love Ethiopian food so much that after eating it for the first time in 2008, I was determined to learn to cook it. The restaurant where I had Watt the first time it was a little too spicy. I then began to make the berbere spice myself and adjust the heat to my liking. However, I have never been able to completely reproduce the flavors of the restaurant so I have tried commercial spice mixes trying to find that thing I am missing in my own mix. There are some exotic spices that are not readily available here in the US, like Bishop's Weed. So, for me this is usable, more heat than flavor, but flavorful enough. I added it to my own mixture to reduce the heat and add more flavor to my mix. It is good enough for a beginner to get an idea of the flavors in Ethiopian cuisine, but be mindful, it is pretty hot for someone that doesn't do heat well.

The spice mix is wonderful, but I would suggest to the first time user that they use it in very small amounts to begin with as it is quite hot and spicy!

This is a lovely fragrant blend, went really well with my red lentils. Unfortunately it's too much for me, I am too wimpy when it comes to cayenne which is the third ingredient. But I got to try it enough to know it will worth making from scratch and then I can dial back the heat. If you can handle a little heat I recommend it.
