This comfrey powder was exactly what I had hoped for. It is a fine grind and the color is a beige brown, as it should be. Some reviews complain that it isn't green - well, it's not supposed to be! This is a ROOT powder - of course it won't be green. When I mixed it with water it was very mucilagenous (again, as it should be) and perfect for my intended use. There were a few minor clumps in the product, which is not a reflection of its quality - just smooth them out with a spoon, or run the powder through a sifter/sieve! - and no different from the clumps that form in corn starch.I am perfectly pleased with this comfrey root powder, and would buy it again (sure beats digging out all the comfrey roots in my yard in the cold).

I'm using this for oil pulling to strengthen my teeth. So far I think it's great.

I don't know where they get that this plant is poisonous. I consume it every day and have been eating comfrey for many years. Blood tests show I am fine.

I use this to mix into melted bees wax and make a topical pain relief creme. It literally works so so good! This company is an honest company that sells pure comfrey root which is hard to dry and powder.

I use it to brush my teeth -- combined with Neem powder. The Neem helps cleanse, while the Comfrey benefits the teeth themselves. I think it's working.

I bought this twice. The first time it was so clumpy. The second time still had clumps but way less, I think the first bag was older, the new bag fresher. I used this 2-3x daily as a poultice for about 6 weeks and my 9mm displaced fracture was fused 7 weeks post break. I used it in combo with the homeopathic symphytum, 1 pellet in my water daily. Great product but so so clumpy.

I made an oil infusion, a water infusion, an emulsion of the two, used the dregs for poultices. I also made salves, one with zinc oxide mixed in and a few with calendula and the like to bump it up a notch. There seems to be no wrong approach, as each one is proving to be very healing and useful, even for joint aches, which surprised me. The dog even allowed me to pour a liquid extraction on his aching hip, several times. While I can't swear that it's the comfrey that did it, he is now walking on all four legs, albeit with a bit of a limp. I absolutely plan to buy more soon.
