It's definitely a different seasoning but it's good it is kind of cinnamon tasting at first but has some kick to it as an after taste I used it for fried okra. I like it it is different

It's delicious! Can be sprinkled on almost any vegetable (and meat, I'm sure) while roasting or sauteing and it adds heat and wonderful, out-of-the-ordinary flavor. We love it! I've added extra ginger with it, which was a nice change. It has quite a bit of cayenne, so be judicious if you're sensitive to chili. Yum!

Definitely has a kick to it. Used it on okra and baked it for 25 mins. Came out great. Simple but tasty.

I make a Ethiopian split pea stew, this seasoning brings so much flavor to the dish. I found that it tastes almost as good as the restaurant I would order from. Can be spicy for those who dont like the heat.

Great seasoning! I got this berbere seasoning blend to put in my fried chicken batter, oh man was it perfect. The organic spice blend is amazing.

I use this spice blend as a replacement for good Balti railway curry powder. I think it does add a slight smokiness and heat but for me the curry flavor is predominant. My Balti bottle disappeared and this is a fairly adequate substitute.

I love this spice. Not salty. It'll leave a bite, but as usual the amount used controls the flavor. A must for any kitchen, instead of having 10 different spices and not being able to balance the flavors.
