Mission:Youth Pride, Inc. (YPI) is the only safe LGBTQ Youth Center in the State of Rhode Island dedicated exclusively to meeting the needs of youth and young adults impacted by their sexual orientation and/or gender identity/expression. YPI's mission is to provide the services and opportunities necessary for youth and young adults to live full, health lives. YPI also works to end homophobia and transphobia in environments where young people live work, study and play. We accomplish this through educational presentations and professional development trainings that help create systems of change and empower young people to advocate for themselves with a sense of self-efficacy.
