Mission:The main focus of NEADY Cats, founded in 1987 and incorporated in February of 2000, is to find loving "forever" homes for homeless adoptable cats and kittens. NEADY Cats is a no kill, all volunteer shelter, that has "alumni" all across the United States. We welcome cats with physical handicaps. NEADY Cats has a working relationship with a local veterinary clinic to provide low cost medical care for our shelter cats. Educating the public in matters of feline health care is also a major thrust of this organization. Our volunteers provide free "cat behavior" counseling before and after placement to new adoptive families, in the hopes that all NEADY Cat "alumni" will have a long stable life with a family that loves them.
