Mission:EAC was founded over 50 years ago in 1969 by four women in response to the special learning needs of children in the Port Washington community. Over the years we have grown to be a nonprofit consisting of over 400 staff who serve over 65,000 individuals (2022) throughout Long Island, the 5 boroughs, and parts of Rockland County. We do this through the 5 program divisions: Vocational Services, Senior and Nutrition Services, Behavioral Health and Criminal Justice Services, Family and Community Services, and our Children and Youth Services.
