Mission:What happens when you bring the street into the studio? You get a mixture of rawness and passion, reality and creativity, instinct and innovation, the actual and the abstract. This is where the realist meets the artist. At Richmond Urban Dance we are committed to making a difference not only in the lives of our faculty and dancers, but in the lives of our audiences as well. We are mission driven with a goal to inspire and equip, as well as entertain. This RVA dance company, focusing on street-style dance, believes opportunities should be created, not waited upon. RUD is open to all ages and skill sets. We strive to reflect our core values and create a positive and safe space for our dancers to grow their talents and become contributing members of our community.
