This clips well on a belt for dress pants without damaging the leather. I took one star off for the size (i little big in my opinion). Overall it works well and looks great!

Good product and working well for me. The side clip is very useful feature.

I can clip it onto a pocket instead of using the hook.

I bought this badge holder because it also has the belt/pants clip on the back. Not all my slacks have belt loops so this works perfect for me.

Unlike my old one, which finally stopped retracting after 15 years, this one is inferior. I have to be very careful what I attach it to because it easily slides off. If you're going to only use it down, such as on a pocket, it's just OK. If you use it sideways or up, it will fall off.

Not much to say, it does the job you would expect it to do, and I like that it has the hook and the clip, because some days are hook days, and some days are clip days (depending on what i'm wearing).Reason I took off a star. Even though it does generally what I want it to, and it does look nice, i still think there could be a much better option, there's just not a huge market for premium badge holders.

I've only had this for a week, but so far i love it! I like that it can clip to a belt loop if I'm wearing jeans or hook on my shirt if I'm wearing a skirt. Both the clip and hook are sturdy and secure! Plus it was a good price :)

while the zip cord worked great the little snap button never held. Tried to bend the snap to hold better but that only held for a day. Had to stop using for fear of losing badge. will need to replace clip to use it again.

This heavy duty little gem works great- I love the carabiner clip as it is secure and clips onto belt loops, key chains and even a necklace chain, if needed. The side belt clip doesn't hold all that great, so I don't use that feature much. The string pulls out smooth and it has held up well- and I use it a LOT at work as all of our doors are secured (inside and outside) by key card systems. I dropped the one star because of the side clip and also the size of this badge holder is a tiny bit on the bulky side. But for durability and ease of use, its a FIVE star item.

I've used this almost every day for just over a year. Sometimes the black circle falls out of the clip part, but I just pop it back in. Overall it does the job and I'm happy.

Update: After several months of heavy use, my string died yesterday by not retracting back. This is the second badge holder that has broke on me. Like my original review says, I extend the string a lot at work, so it's bound to happen. I won't subtract a star based on that because I feel like all of these clips sold on here are cheaply made.I'm required to badge-in/out on a daily basis through almost every door I use at work. I needed something with a retractable cord and purchased this based on the reviews.Initially, I liked that it was lightweight. It has a belt clip and a belt hoop clip. Both secure firmly but obviously the belt hoop clip is more secure. It also serves as a key chain.The big flaw however, is that the black circle inside the chrome housing can easily be punched out, causing the badge itself to drop to the ground. This has occurred several times and if you don¡¯t hear it, you may be without a badge and not even know it. I¡¯m not sure if this is a design choice or flaw, or if mine just didn¡¯t come glued together. But it definitely loses a star which is disappointing considering I like everything else about it. I haven¡¯t yet but I¡¯ll likely just superglue the thing to prevent this in the future.With that being said, I use my badge 20+ times a day and it¡¯s only fallen off a handful of times ¨C annoying and potentially costly, yes. But I can deal with it. I did however, want to let everyone on here know.
