I got it for fishing (counting perch in the cooler). 1st one I got had a didn't work, I got cusomer service and they sent me a new one. looks like the only problem is the on/off button. it takes no effort at all to turn it on, which means if you throw it somewhere, it will most likely turn on and drain out the battery. Which is what I think was the problem with the 1st one.If your going to use it at home and keep it in a nice place, it'll be good for you. If your going to throw it in the boat glove comartment, get a machanical one. Counting 120 perch by hand is not a fun thing to do.

This is a great little counter. I use it for knitting. I found I could get 2 for less than half the price of one of the EXACT same item offered as a "knitting row counter". It's easy to read and operate, and has a ribbon for around your neck if needed. I think it would work wonderfully for any counting need. Highly recommended!

this clickers buttons are a bit hard to use and its just small enough to slip out of your hand. spend a little bit more and get a nicer one, you will be glad you did.

I like the fact that it has a silencer. The sacristans can count the number of people at Sunday Mass without that clicking sound distracting the Mass.
