Works great for holding the mat together and carrying. I've used it to carry my yoga mat while biking and it never slips or anything. I've also used it to hold together a camping mat and it works just as well for that.

the yoga mat harness strap is a simple design, light weight and works well with my mat. I've only had it for a short time, but it appears that it will be durable.

I bought this yoga mat because I'm a plus size gal, and I'm tall. The normal size yoga mats don't fit a tall girl like me, they are made for a tiny petite girl. This yoga mat is comfy and thick and is made from durable foam. The colors purple, and with it arrived it came securely packaged and the package wasn't damaged at all. I bought this last year in 2015 during the summer, and now it's March 2016 and this product is still going strong.
