These are 8 ohms so I can use them in my vehicle without the amp getting red hot. I use two of them in large wooden box with a 3 inch pipe for a port. I Connect my amp to these and to 6.5 inch woofers of the same brand in the doors, and run the amp at 4 ohms rather than the 2 ohms I would get if these were 4 ohm.

Bought these speakers to replace my woofers. The foam on my old ones deteriorated on me so I got these. They are a better replacement than the ones I had. They sound a lot better. They are not that heavy. Nice bass response.
